Privacy & Confidentiality: Customer financial data is secure, private and confidential. All subscriber-generated content is confidential to the subscriber and solely for the use of the student. This includes all Exercise answers or Journal entries solely produced by the user where no one else is supposed to view that content. Subscribers may expressly authorize in writing coaches or counselors to view their content if they wish, but otherwise that content is strictly confidential. This only applies to electronic data. Once content has been printed to hard copy by the subscriber, that copy is the responsibility of the suscriber.
We have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices.
Your Information is Private
Subscribers are requested to enter limited personal information during signups. Under no circumstance will we sell, transfer or disseminate this personal information gathered by our products to any other entity.
Your Information is Secure
We employ the use of the following measures to ensure your data is secure:
• All accounts require an account id, password, and enrollment in a specified course to view data.
• All data centers use firewalls and other extensive security measures to prevent unauthorized access to our internal networks.
• The physical preservation of the data is ensured by the use of RAID-enabled servers, surge protectors, battery power backups, and daily data backups. All servers are housed in climate-controlled data centers.
Cookie Usage
The use of cookies is limited to storing a small amount of non-identifiable information on a subscriber's computer. For visitors to our sites, the data is used only to maintain information about the user's session.
Access to Personal Account Data
Every subscriber is requested to enter limited personal information that is stored in our databases. This information may include credit card information for pay subscribers. At any time, subscribers may modify this information upon logging into the product using an account id and password. Credit card information is only requested on secure pages (using SSL 128-bit encryption). Credit card information is never re-displayed once entered.
Children's Guidelines
Turning Points Products are not meant for use by anyone under the age of 17 years old. Turning Points expressly forbids anyone under the age of 17 to purchase a subscription to this portal without parental consent, and is not responsible for anyone under the age of 17 who purchases a subscription against parental consent. Turning Points encourages those under 17 to use transition products specifically designed for their age group.
